Participants who would like to present an oral or poster presentation (please clearly specify preference in the word document before abstract text) must submit an abstract for consideration by the scientific committee.

The deadline for abstract submission has been extended to March 20th
The presenting author is required to ensure that all co-authors are aware of the content of the abstract before submission.

Please also mention the preferred session according to the sub-topics listed in « Program ». This abstract file must be sent by email to The Committee will review all abstracts, taking into consideration the author’s preference of presentation type but the Committee reserves the right to decide on the final form of presentation or to reject the abstract .

Authors will be notified for acceptance as poster or oral by June 1st at the latest.

Abstract presenters must be registered for the meeting. Presenters with accepted abstracts who fail to register will not have their abstract(s) published in the proceedings book.

Proceedings of the meeting will be distributed to the participants upon registration at the beginning of the symposium.

All abstracts must be in English. Please do not use abbreviations or references and do not exceed 300 words.

Poster presentations are hard-copy format only and must fit within the designated display area (~27 x 39 inches or ~70 cm x 100 cm).

The entire poster layout should be readable from six to ten feet away.

Recommended Font Sizes:

  • Title: 36 point type
  • List of authors: 24 point type
  • Double-spaced text: 20 point type

The poster should include an abstract, brief introduction, goals, experimental detail, results (clear explanations for graphs, figures, and tables), conclusions, and references.

The presenter is required to stand by the poster during the scheduled poster session to answer questions from attendees.
